WP Titans Sports Club Celebrates Historic First Match Day in Club History
Wentworth Point, April 5, 2025 – The newly-formed WP Titans Sports Club officially launched their soccer campaign with a high-energy and memorable first match day, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the club and the community.
Founded in 2024, WP Titans Sports Club was created with a clear vision: to build an inclusive, family-oriented sports club rooted in the values of teamwork, respect, and opportunity for all. Based in Wentworth Point, the WP Titans are proud to offer a welcoming environment where players of all backgrounds and skill levels can grow, compete, and thrive—on and off the pitch.
“This club isn’t just about soccer,” said Heba Aly. “It’s about building a community where everyone feels welcome—kids, parents, seasoned players, and newcomers alike. We’re here to develop talent, but just as importantly, to bring people together through the love of the sport.”
Match Day Highlights
- Mahmoud Al Hafi, the Under 15 Boys Centre Back, scored the club’s first-ever competitive goal, drawing huge cheers from the crowd and etching a historic moment in club history. After two close offside calls denied Yusuf Dehen and Adam Motawie goals, Mahmoud unleashed a rocket from distance that gave the keeper no chance. The team showed strong chemistry and spirit throughout the match, a reflection of months of hard training and preparation under the guidance of Coach Moe.
- The Under 15 Girls team made a remarkable debut in the 2025 CFA Sydney Inc season. The team showcased exceptional skill and teamwork in their first official match. This performance not only highlights the players’ dedication under Coach Miguel Lau but also sets a promising tone for the season ahead. Not to be outdone by the boys team, Negar Ghodsi scored a great goal.
- Under-7 Stars Shine in Debut Match – The future looks bright for WP Titans Sports Club as the Under-7 team made an impressive debut this past weekend, scoring three goals in their very first match. The young stars showed great enthusiasm, teamwork, and skill on the field, drawing smiles and cheers from proud parents and supporters. Coach Jake praised the players’ determination and sportsmanship, noting that the team is already showing strong potential. “This is just the beginning,” he said. “They’re learning fast, playing hard, and most importantly, having fun.”
- All Age Men Claim First-Ever Victory with 12-0 Win – WP Titans Sports Club recorded its first victory in club history with an emphatic 12-0 win. Star forward Ahmed Chandab was in sensational form, netting six goals in a performance that highlighted both his individual brilliance and the strength of a united squad effort. The WP Titans showcased a complete team performance, dominating from start to finish and securing a well-deserved clean sheet. This historic win sets a strong foundation for the club’s future, with the WP Titans now full of confidence and ready to build on their success.
