The vibrant community of Wentworth Point is coming together once again for our much-anticipated Garage Sale event on Thursday, May 8, 2025, this time with an exciting twist — a sizzling community barbecue!

Organized to promote sustainability, encourage recycling, and foster neighborhood connections, the Garage Sale transformed the community into a buzzing marketplace. Dozens of families set up stalls right outside their homes, offering a wide array of pre-loved treasures — from books, toys, and kitchen gadgets to clothes, electronics, and furniture. Bargain hunters had a field day exploring the hidden gems, with many leaving with arms full of fantastic finds at unbeatable prices.

But it wasn’t just about finding great deals. This year, the addition of a community barbecue brought an extra layer of fun and deliciousness. Volunteers manned the grill, serving up tasty sausages, veggie options, and snacks for all ages. The aroma of grilled delights filled the air as neighbors gathered over plates of food, enjoying conversations, laughter, and live background music that added to the relaxed, feel-good atmosphere.

Kids had their own share of entertainment, with a bubble zone, chalk art spaces, and outdoor games set up to keep the youngest members of the community happy and active while the adults shopped and socialized.
